Snake Dog IPA Brewed by: Flying Dog Brewery
Big citrus (notably grapefruit) and pine hop aromas and flavors with subtle caramel malt notes. More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest.
This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.
Size: 16oz Cans | Case Pack: 12-Pack | 7.1% ABV | 60 IBU | 213 Est. Cal | Style:American IPA | BeerAdvocate: 81 | Untappd: 3.6 | Maryland, United States
A potent snakebite of Citra, Mosaic, Warrior, Simcoe, and Columbus hops (more than 2lbs per barrel) gives this beer its citrus-forward superpower. Orange and tropical fruit aromas temper slightly-piney crispness, turning Snake Dog into a more complex breed of West Coast IPA.
You’ll find Snake Dog bites hardest when paired with peppery cheeses, curries, and mild Thai dishes whose names you can’t pronounce properly.
